Prices quoted below are basic charges for use of our minibuses with our
driver or your driver.
CHARGES with ATWEST driver
All minibuses:
* £1.10 per mile, *plus £7.50 per hour.
* There is a minimum mileage charge per booking of 10 miles.
* Escorts, when available, £7.00 per hour
ATWEST drivers are not normally available for more than one day.
CHARGES with Own driver
All minibuses:
* £1.10 per mile plus £3.00 per hour to maximum of £35.00 per 24 hours.
* There is a minimum mileage charge per booking of 10 miles.
* Weekend booking from 4pm Friday to 8am Monday ...... £50.00 plus mileage
* For bookings lasting 7 days or more there is a maximum charge of £35.00
per day plus mileage.
MINIBUSES
INTRODUCTION
This page sets out the procedures, and terms and conditions for using
minibuses operated by ATWEST
Our minibus service is available only to non-profit making community and
voluntary groups in West Somerset.
All minibuses are operated under the Small Bus Permit legislation. ATWEST
is the registered holder of a Small Bus Permit for each minibus, and every
booking is carried out under the terms of the Permit. This means that:
* A minibus can only be used by groups registered with ATWEST.
* A minibus cannot be booked by an individual or a member of the general
public.
* All minibus use takes place in the name of ATWEST.
* A minibus cannot be booked for activities (or as part of activities)
which are profit making. This means that a minibus cannot be booked by
a private business.
* A minibus can only be driven by someone who is on the ATWEST Register
of Drivers who has received training from Somerset County Council.
It is important to realise that demand for minibuses in our fleet often exceeds the available supply and, therefore, we cannot guarantee that a user will be able to make all the bookings they would like.
