THE ATWEST TRAVEL CLUB
THE ATWEST TRAVEL CLUB is open to anyone within West Somerset who is
registered with Atwest.
All registered Groups are required to pay an annual subscription fee of
£20.00 (all fees due on 1st April). This fee covers all the members of
that Group and the leader of the Group will be sent a copy of the TRAVEL
CLUB trips every month as well as each Newsletter publication.
Registered individuals can pay £5.00 annual subscription and they will
also be mailed the monthly trips and each Newsletter. Because there are
limited seats available on the trips those receiving the Newsletter and
monthly trips by post have the opportunity to book their seats several
days before we display the information on our minibuses.
Members will also be offered unbooked and available seats on all ATWEST
Group buses.
There can be as many as eight TRAVEL CLUB trips each month throughout
the County and beyond. There will be a charge for all trips outside the
County which varies according to the venue.
We select venues to vary with the seasons... for example Spring sees visits
to Snowdrop Valley, Garden Centres, summer visits include trips to seaside
towns like Weston-Super-Mare, Ilfracombe and Burnham-on-Sea. Autumn and
Winter include trips for Christmas and New Year shopping like Clarks Village.
Popular trips throughout the year are market days at venues like Wells,
Barnstaple and Tiverton and Exmoor Tours are always popular especially
with a cream tea stop at one of our villages.
